I don't mind a slim and fit person but some of the models are verging on anorexic which doesn't endear anyone to the clothes.
I doubt that a little bit of lying will seriously discredit any politician as long as the national interests weren't seriously damaged these guys will stay in for a while yet.
They risk getting left behind by the rest of the development community. Besides they make all their money on products which are developed by these tools and not the tools themselves.

The revenue streams which will be generated by this far outweigh the potential issues in the short term. However in the long term ensuring that people spend and don't save may produce it's own issues.
